The Communion hails from the citified planet of Centarion, the birthplace of humanity. Through a long course of conflict and resolution, society turned galactic and now commands the largest expanse of stars in the known galaxy. Despite recent foreign threats, alien and human, and increasingly volatile internal affairs, the Communion is not to be underestimated. It was forged in fire once, and it will be reforged again.
Situated to the far north of Communion Space, the raptids block humanity from exploring the galaxy’s interior. Two powerful homeworlds, Pangea and Gondwana, govern an unknown number of colonies. However, many believe that the raptids downplay their expanse and that their realm extends even further north.
A mysterious and ancient realm, home to a once exiled diaspora of humanity. After 14,000 years, Elder Space has developed into a segmented expanse just as old, and altogether as large, as the Third Communion. The people of Elder Space have been raised to hate their Communard neighbours and wait for their day of vengeance. However, severed by the dark wall, the people of the Communion have been kept blissfully unaware of the danger on their doorstep, hearing only the rumours of the troublesome ‘divided territories.’ Very few know the truth behind the Communion’s ‘secret battles.’
