Welcome to NJ Wrigley (“the Website”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of any membership that grants access to The Orpheus Universe & Storytelling audio content and related services (“Content”). By creating an account or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms.

1. Introduction
These Terms apply to all Members and visitors. By accessing Content on the Website, you acknowledge and agree to follow all rules, limitations, and obligations set forth here.

2. Membership Options
2.1 Yearly Membership
Your membership remains active as long as recurring payments are made successfully. Failure to maintain payment will result in loss of access.
2.2 Lifetime Membership
A “Lifetime Membership” provides access for as long as the Website remains operational. It refers solely to the lifetime of the Website, not the individual Member. If the Website is discontinued, sold, significantly restructured, or otherwise ceases operation, Lifetime access will end without compensation – although, every best effort will be made to ensure content can still be accessed in these events..

3. Subscription Terms
3.1 Refunds – 14-Day Cooling Off Period
There is a 14-Day cooling off period for the first purchase of a membership, where refunds may be made. Since subsequent yearly payments are considered as a continuation of the same contract, and that renewal reminder emails are supplied to the customer within a reasonable period before the renewal dates, the 14-Day cooling off period does not apply for renewal periods. After the 14-Day cooling off period, all Membership fees—yearly, or lifetime—are strictly non-refundable. No refunds or prorated refunds will be provided for: Change of mind; Non-usage; Dissatisfaction with Content; Account termination due to rule violations; Technical issues on the Member’s device; Website downtime, maintenance, or discontinuation. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept this zero-refund policy after 14-Days of first purchase.

To ask for a refund, notify us by sending an email to subscriptions@njwrigley.com before the 14-Day cooling off period ends.

Refunds for cancelled subscriptions will be issued promptly, in line with UK consumer law. Access to content will end as soon as the refund is processed. Admin will cancel your membership if you have not done so already from your account.

3.2 Renewals
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription period, unless you cancel before renewal. Renewal is treated as a continuation of the original contract.
3.2 Reminder Emails
Yearly Subscribers will be sent a reminder email a week before the renewal date, in order for them to make an informed decision on whether to let the payment proceed or cancel the subscription.
3.3 Price-Lock For Founder Members
Founder Members will always pay £64.99/ year, and will be excluded from any future price increases.
3.4 Transparent Pricing
We may increase subscription prices from time to time, based on factors such as increased costs, inflation, or service improvements. Any price increase will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email or your account dashboard.

If you do not agree to the new price, you may:

  1. Cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect, without additional charges; or
  2. Continue your subscription at the new price.

Continuing your subscription after the price change constitutes acceptance of the updated subscription fee.

3.5 Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel after the 14-Day cooling off period, cancellation takes affect at the end of the current subscription period, which means that subscribers will have access to content up until the expiration date (previously the renewal date).

Reminder: In order to get a refund within the 14-Day cooling off period, you must notify us by email at subscriptions@njwrigley.com.

4. License to Access Content (No Ownership)
All audio episodes, lore, artwork, music, sound design, written materials, and any other related assets of The Orpheus Universe are the exclusive intellectual property of NJ Wrigley unless otherwise specified. Similarly, all audio narrations of the Storytelling Content are the exclusive intellectual property of NJ Wrigley, given that significant creative effort has been used to narrate work from the Public Domain and synchronise it with royalty-free, commercial use music. NJ Wrigley does not own the source material, such as the original text or music. However, NJ Wrigley does own the audio narration. When you purchase a Membership, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Content for streaming only, unless explicit download options are provided by the Website. You do not own the Content, and no ownership rights are transferred to you.

5. Permitted & Prohibited Use
By becoming a Member, you agree:
5.2 Permitted:
Personal, private listening. Access through your own account only. Use of Content solely as intended through the Website’s interface.
5.3 Strictly Prohibited:
You may not, under any circumstances: Download Content unless the Website provides an official download option; Copy, reproduce, or distribute Content; Share Content with others or upload it to any platform; Record or capture audio streams; Use automated tools to scrape or back up Content; Share your account or login credentials; Sell, trade, or transfer your membership. Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your Membership without refund.

6. Copyright & Intellectual Property
All Content associated with The Orpheus Universe is fully protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. All rights—copyright, trademark, and all derivatives—belong to NJ Wrigley exclusively. As stated before, all audio narrations of the Storytelling Content are the exclusive intellectual property of NJ Wrigley, given that significant creative effort has been used to narrate work from the Public Domain and synchronise it with royalty-free, commercial use music. Members receive no rights to modify, adapt, translate, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Content.

7. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for: Keeping your password safe; Ensuring your account is not shared with others; Reporting any unauthorised access. NJ Wrigley may suspend or terminate accounts exhibiting suspicious or unlawful activity.

8. Website Availability
We strive to maintain reliable access, but the Website may experience interruptions, maintenance, or downtime. We do not guarantee: Continuous uptime; Availability of specific Content; Future updates or new Content. Lifetime Members acknowledge that their access depends on the ongoing operation of the Website.

9. Termination of Membership
NJ Wrigley reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any Membership—without refund—if a Member: Violates these Terms; Engages in unlawful activity; Misuses or attempts to unlawfully obtain Content; Abuses the platform or disrupts the community.

10. Amendments to These Terms
NJ Wrigley may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted signifies acceptance of the revised Terms.
